PERFECT PUSHUP, LLC 1270594 The Perfect Pushup (EA)
Developed by a US Navy SEAL and as seen on TV, the Original Perfect Pushup uses the latest in biomechanics and engineering to achieve better results from pushup workouts. The units have comfortable rubberized grips, stable 8" bases with a gripping rubber finish, and a steel ball bearing rotational system. Smooth-rotating handles accelerate results by engaging more muscles in the arms, chest, shoulders, and back, while also reducing strain on wrists and elbows and stabilizing the shoulder joint.
The Original Perfect Pushup works for any fitness level, and the included SEAL-inspired exercise chart demonstrates proper form and includes a customizable 21-day workout planner based on SEAL "two minute drills." The kit includes two patent-pending pushup handles, and instructional DVD, and the instructional poster.
About Perfect Fitness
The training principles and innovations behind the Perfect Pushup
originated with Alden Mills, a seven year veteran of the US Navy
SEALs. While serving as platoon commander, Alden’s platoon was
chosen for a study to determine why SEALs suffered unusually high
injury rates. After learning the injuries were linked to age-old
training methods, SEAL trainers switched to Functional Training.
Alden learned firsthand how to incorporate these lessons into
exercise routines that have become the foundation of techniques
used at Perfect Fitness.
one of the few pieces of home gym equipment I useReviewed by Mark Chesnais, 2010-02-22
I have tried various pieces of home gym equipment over the years and this is one of the few that I use on a regular basis. Love the different options that you get with the rotating handle, but even if you don't rotate it, this is a great way to do pushups. There are several great workouts online which use these is a number of different ways I would never have thought of, so this is more than just a pushup device. Lots of really good options to hit all the major upperbody muscle groups, including chest, biceps, and triceps.
Bought For My Husband and He Likes ItReviewed by K. Salinger, 2010-02-18
I bought these for my husband. He likes the way they reduce the impact on his wrists and hands. They have a nice smooth surface that grips the floor without scratching it. They are a tad bulky but not overly so.
It works.Reviewed by DAN, 2010-02-13
I have been sedentary for a while and I decided to get in shape, this product was part of the workouts that I do now since it's only for your pecs, back of arms, shoulder muscles. Let me just say that I did pushups a few times a month even when i wasn't active, but the first time I used these as prescribed starting from the day 1 schedule, I was left sore for 4 days and had to stop. It was unbeliveable, somehow it manages to work out every muscle and way more effecivtely than regular pushups. After I recovered I noticed that I had a little more power in those muscles. Make sure you follow their schedule and don't work out every day to let your muscles recoer. Great product!
Good productReviewed by OutdoorsBuff, 2010-02-11
Good product for the money. I like the range of the motion on these. I have used them at the gym and so wanted some for home use between workouts. I usually lift and do cardio but have participated in the 100 push up challenge each spring. These put less stress on my wrists than flat handed pushups and are more comfortable than knuckle pushups. Because of the intensity, however, I find I can only do half as many as usual. But what a pump!
awesomeReviewed by b.rad, 2010-02-07
I am very skeptical at first with most fitness gimmicks but this works, after 1 month doing the lowest repetitions and even forgetting a few days I noticed my chest was bigger and my triceps pop out more, I am slowly working my way towards the next level week by week and getting impressive results.
